Triple stringer single fin made by Tiki in the mid to late 70s. This is most likely to be a custom made board, from their custom range which had been producing multi stringers since the early 70s. A triple stringer is more time consuming and tricky to produce so is a good sign of quality and produces a beautiful looking board when done well. The board will be slightly heavier but stronger. It has unusual cut-aways at the tail which follow the lines of the side stringers and make a pretty unique looking tail.
The board has survived amazingly well, partly due I'm sure to its original cloth board bag . Even the board bag is in good condition ; usually these have gone manky and stinky through generations of sea water, dirt and old wax. Thanks to Henry for the photos ,this is quite a special Tiki.
