'' probably a 1960 or early ‘61 based on the fin. Beautiful board in what appears to be great condition (the water on the board in the pics threw me). Value probably in the $1,500 +/- range. They built a TON of boards in this period, but this was a custom with the upgraded fin and deck patterns. Less than 2% have survived in the condition of your board. So a great and historic board which has been in dry storage for decades . It is in the Bristol area, price £950 , email tcundall@googlemail.com . The dark brown on rails and fin may well be a later addition.
I like the surftech after years of nursing pu boards the epoxy feels very durable, quite corky but in a good way. The volume definitely allows for going shorter without sacrificing paddling and wave count.
