80s surfwear

Gavin recently found these long forgotten relics of his 80s youth in the attic, and emailed some pics and words about his classic items-
From an era when shorts were 'shorts' some Tom Carroll-esque Quiksilvers, actually made in Australia ( not often you see surfwear made in Oz these days ). Got to be a good excuse to view this clip -

At the other end of the spectrum, and a lot more new wave skate influenced and I'm guessing Quiksilver France rather than Aus , outlandish warpaint baggies ! These were super long back in the day.

Also dug out a long forgotten Fosters pro t shirt from '83, got the poster somewhere as well. Gavin is slipping back into the 80s in the surf too, helped by his two MR twin fins.

  2. Underwired tops and halter-necks and those which are molded are particularly good for busty figures, but make sure the straps are sturdy enough to take the strain — thin, spaghetti-style straps just make breasts look even bulkier.

  4. I wish I still had my WarPaint shorts and Ghetto Dog Tshirt from 87. Amazing Basquait inspired artwork to be fair.
