'No vintage boards in London' ? Yes there are !
In a leafy, quiet ,and lets face it pretty well off part of London I visited this room of classic boards. The owner Ed was off on holiday so his housekeeper let me in for half an hour of escape from the heat of the city - and I got hands on with boards from some of the best surfer shapers of the 70s ! As Ed is an Aussie ,Hot Buttereds were there in force, with a couple of Terry Fitz and a Frank Williams, with great artworks by legend Martyn Worthington. There was a Lopez and a BK bolt, a Michael Peterson, a lovely swallow tail Morning Star, a rare Bare Nature by Neil Perrow, and an unusual Shaun Tomson model . This is only part of Ed's collection and I think he has still to unwrap the rest. Some of the boards may be up for sale soon.
