Well I thought last year's surf meet was going to be hard to beat, but yesterdays was another classic day - with a bigger turnout of both collectors and visitors, hundreds of boards, and the yellow thing in the sky even came out long enough to give me a sunburnt nose ! A big thanks to all the collectors who made the effort to clean their boards, load up the vans and travel down to Newquay ;there was an amazing array of old boards , most in great condition and it was good to be able to pick them up and check them out. There was also more buying/ swapping going on , and I came home with two new ones . Great relaxed atmosphere again, old friends, new friends getting together and just enjoying it all. Thanks to Lusty Glaze for sorting out the site, and the Waterboarders for putting on a great set afterwards. We've been invited back next year !
