Here's a couple of vids of Cheyne. In the one above he's surfing in the Fosters comp at Fistral beach, early 80s - in the white wetsuit and shorty and green vest. Unfortunately the surf looks awful.Check out the crowds on the beach. Below is a photo by Alex from that contest.
