According to the blurb that goes with this bit of Pathe film the surfer is " Paul Saymer, an Australian Surfing Champion" . No, I`ve never heard of him either, but he knows what he`s doing in this clip .
ReplyDeleteHis name hasn't cropped up before so I wonder where he did his surfing and how long he was in the UK for. He looks pretty confident in the water.
