Lynch`s surfing was described as `grace under pressure` in 1968-9 when this stuff was 1st shown. Everyone else was slashing, jamming, forcing waves as the short boards came in. Wayne had time - in spades - to make it all look effortless either tubed or in the pocket. At the time, it was sensational.
