Roger Cooper grew up surfing on the Isle of Wight , later heading over to the mainland and eventually settling in South Wales in the early 70s where he shaped quality boards under a variety of labels. One of his earliest labels was Zippy Sticks, and here's a nice singlefin from the Gul collection. A fast looking shape with pintail and sleek plywood fin ; nice and unusual artwork design on the underside. It has the classic zippy sticks logo, not sure who did it but its great and very much of the era when there were lots of psychadelic and hippy influences. Photos by Alex.
