Here's a couple more boards from Chris' rack of relics. Both singlefins, this one is a Martin Richard shaped in Newquay - this was Martin Geary's first solo label from the late 60s, pretty rare today. Nice looking board too with 60s west coast style lettering in the logo.

This board is a Flying fish, never heard of this one before, its a standard pintail singlefin, British I presume with an imported blank, no shapers name.

The flying fish board was made by a guy called Mick (The Fish), a friend or known to Tris Cokes and John Minetta of Tris Surfboards Porthtowan. Made around 1973-75 Ched Chatten remembers
ReplyDeletecheers Ched, I knew someone out there would know it. Wonder if he's a friend of John the fish
